Household Uses for Honey

Shared from MOTHER EARTH LIVING

The sweet nectar of honey is a treasured food for many. And while it tastes great, many also know that it has a seemingly endless list of medicinal benefits, including relieving coughs, soothing burns, treating cuts and much more. Use this wonderful tool to effectively heal the body—both inside and out. Moisturizing, exfoliating, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, honey can be used in nearly all rooms of the home, from cleansing the face or treating scrapes while in the bathroom, to fancying up a cheese plate while in the kitchen. In this video, Associate Editor Gina DeBacker demonstrates a few household uses for honey, including recipes for a DIY facial cleanser and a simple hangover remedy.
